Mary Lee’s House is a community collaboration committed to protecting, respecting, and healing the children of abuse and neglect who pass through our doors.  Mary Lee’s House is a unique state of the art facility that partners with five programs (such as Children's Advocacy Center, Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, USF Child Protection Team, The Healthy Start Coalition and Success 4 Kids and Families.)  Children no longer have to be transported from facility to facility, and professionals from many disciplines are able to meet and make decisions about the investigation, treatment and prosecution of child-abuse cases. Mary Lee's House provides a comprehensive, child- friendly approach to the difficult issue of physical abuse, sexual abuse and neglect. Prior to the construction of  Mary Lee’s House, children were served in a variety of locations requiring multiple transports, frequently resulting in prolonged and fragmented care. Mary Lee’s House fosters a nurturing environment which minimizes trauma to children and their families while increasing effectiveness in service delivery.
